Dino Asterio Wesche – Music

 

 

     I’ve always wanted to create a music album and have never had the opportunity to do so. Like most Americans, I had a family to raise and had to make a living. Even then, over the years, I’ve tried to make recordings of my music but have never been satisfied with the outcome. The short story is, the technology I could afford didn’t allow me to create a quality recording. Everything I attempted “at home” sounded like it was recorded on a cassette machine from the 1980’s. Now, there are share-ware and low-cost programs that allow me to create multi-track recordings using my computer. I have quality microphones, MIDI & USB hardware, that I can afford, which allows me to create “quality” recordings. I can’t blame the equipment if the music sounds bad. I’m nearing retirement and plan to spend more time creating music. Sometimes I wonder if my life would have been different if this technology had been available to me when I was in my twenties; seriously thought about having a music career back then. Still, maybe it’s better this way. I’m grounded in who I am, and am happy and grateful for the life that I have. Maybe I can make a few dollars during retirement via this website or via a live performance now and then. I’ve decided to let the public determine whether or not my music has value. Videos will always be free; my hope to inspire young & old.
